DATA-ENABLED LIFE SCIENCES ALLIANCE

Endorsed Projects and Working Groups

DELSA has a number of avenues it uses to fulfill its mission: “To advance the impact of data-enabled life sciences research on the pressing needs of the global society."

DELSA has created Working Groups to tackle ongoing broad challenges and Endorsed Projects for specific research projects that advance data-enabled life sciences.

There are 4 Working Groups: Social Networking Platform for Tool Brokering/Community Building and Matchmaking, Data Set Accessibility, Training Data Scientists and DELSA International Outreach. The Working Group issues are broader, more long-term challenges that require sustained effort and coordination with other national and international groups to make an impact.

The Endorsed Projects began in 2012 and are specific projects designed to advance scientific knowledge through collective innovation. DELSA is prepared to support, promote and facilitate the structure and management of these projects. We wish to underscore that each of these opportunities are open to further development and enhancement by individuals, teams, organizations, universities, companies, and funders. We also welcome comments and suggestions regarding the projects and working groups, and the DELSA role in their advancement. DELSA is neither a funding agency nor a consortium, but an Alliance of individuals and organizations with a common commitment to data-enabled life sciences. With your participation and engagement we are confident that these projects can move forward and deliver key benefits to science and society.

We invite you to indicate your interest in participation in or support of one or more of these Endorsed Projects or the Working Groups.
